Thank you to everyone who helped make Dinner in the Wild 2008 a HUGE success! Dinner in the Wild is MNS’s primary means of raising support for its public education programs including those for pre-K through grade 12 onsite, outreach and scholarship programs that that make certain all school children in North Texas, regardless of ability to pay, can visit MNS. Dinner in the Wild also helps us sustain our ongoing research, engaging exhibits, traveling shows, and an assortment of Planetarium and IMAX® productions. The theme of the 2008 Dinner in the Wild was Be Seen Being Green. At the event we showcased the many ways we can all be more environmentally aware, from climate change to energy savings to recycling. We also provided great ideas on how to implement easy, ecologically sound practices into our daily lives, while presenting guests with a great evening of fun and entertainment. Join us each year for this annual event as we bring together our civic, social and business community leaders from throughout North Texas who are dedicated to helping MNS fulfill its mission of inspiring minds through nature and science.
