Museum of Nature & Science Summer 2010 Children’s Programs

It’s Peak Season for Inspiration!
Inspiring minds through nature and science is what we do best. And in the summertime, there’s no place like the Museum of Nature & Science to give kids the hands-on fun they need to stretch their minds, explore their world, and open their eyes to amazing possibilities! Share the discovery with your child in our Little Explorers, watch their independence blossom in our half-day Discovery Camp, Jr., or give their ingenuity and creativity a chance to really shine in our full-day Discovery Camp. For kids from 6 months to 6th grade, our summer programs provide the perfect framework to come and explore!

Download our 2010 Summer Fun Children's Program Guide or email camps@natureandscience.org to request a free mailed copy.

At the full-day Discovery Camp, children grades K-6 can take part in a variety of hands-on activities and dynamic programs covering a wide range of topics from prehistoric dinosaurs to the latest technology.

Much like the full-day Discovery Camp, kids ages 3-4 can enjoy plenty of summertime fun at Discovery Camp, Jr. The half-day, drop-off camp is designed specifically for younger children, including dynamic, age-appropriate activities perfectly suited to help them develop and learn.

Spark your child’s imagination with the Museum of Nature & Science’s Little Explorers. This learning program is designed specifically to help parents nurture their young children’s constant quest for answers. Little Explorers encourages guided learning and development for children ages 6 months to 4 years and their adult companion through dynamic, interactive activities.
