“It was wonderful! Both presenters were great with the students and setting them up for the lab. My classes had a great time and have asked many other questions since the lab. I look forward to having the program at our school in the future.”
Bishop Dunne HS

“I am always pleased with the Museum and how well you work with the kids.”
Hubbard Elementary

“Your programs are so popular with the teachers and students that we have trouble getting them to go to other places for field trips.”
Birdie Alexander Elementary

MNS is perfectly suited to provide the best in hands-on science exhibits, educational classes, planetarium shows and IMAX® films. Our excellent teaching staff and extensive network of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) partnerships across North Texas are resources we bring to life in your classroom; there’s nothing else like it around.

Why MNS?

Our Programs Meet TEKS Standards
Utilizing the unique resources available to the Museum, all of our education programs, films and planetarium shows are designed to support Texas teachers and schools by providing programs unavailable in the typical classroom. Our teaching staff excels in developing hands-on, problem-based learning programs for your students, and we pride ourselves in seeing that our visitors understand the connection between science and their everyday lives.

All MNS educational programs are specifically designed to meet the revised TEKS standards. Our Teacher’s Resource site will help you find exactly which program is the best fit for the concepts and skills you need to support your classroom teaching.

Financial Aid is Available
MNS has access to financial aid programs and grants that may reduce or even eliminate program fees for students. While there are no grant guarantees, filling out and returning our Financial Aid Form will place your school in our database to be reviewed first when scholarship opportunities arise.  NOTE: Since some grants or programs may be open only to certain geographic areas or other criteria, be sure to fill out the application completely.

ArtsPartners Funding is Available
The Museum of Nature & Science is an educational service provider for ArtsPartners. All elementary schools in the Dallas Independent School District may be eligible for school funding to participate in a program at the MNS through ArtsPartners.  If you are using ArtsPartners funding, please have your APP# when you call to book your program tour.
