Helping Girls Scouts of Northeast Texas creatively develop and practice engineering skills, Cookie Box Creations teams girls with female architects and engineers in a design contest to turn empty Girl Scout cookie boxes into free-standing structures. The annual competition helps girls develop critical thinking skills while promoting cooperation and team-building.
This year, with Cookie Box Creations 2012: Under the Sea, participants will compete to build ocean-themed scenes to correlate with current MNS traveling exhibition, Planet Shark: Predator or Prey. Vote on your favorite Cookie Box Creations at the ballot box in the Science Building lobby.
*This exhibition is FREE to the public and will be located in the Science Building lobby.
