Parking and Directions

The Museum of Nature & Science consists of several buildings all located in Fair Park, Dallas - two blocks south of Interstate 30, and two miles east of downtown. You'll see directional signs to "Fair Park" throughout the area.

The Nature Building is located at 3535 Grand Avenue; the Science Building is located at 1318 South Second Avenue; and the Planetarium Building is located at 1620 First Avenue.

Transportation to MNS is also available via DART. Please visit www.dart.org for more information.

Parking
Museum parking is always free, except during the State Fair of Texas®. There are multiple lots located directly across from and near the museum.
 
Fair Park has paid parking during park-wide events or major concerts. To avoid paying a parking charge for most events (excluding the State Fair of Texas®), MNS guests should tell the parking gate attendant they are in Fair Park to visit the Museum.

MNS is an AAM accredited institution that is the result of the merger of the Dallas Museum of Natural History, The Science Place, and the Dallas Children's Museum, supported in part by the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs, the Texas Commission on the Arts, and HP.
