It’s your big day—so you get to choose from several brilliantly original birthday experiences. Packages also include a private party room*, museum admission for each guest, free parking, and a party host. (But, since we’re better scientists than chefs—parents provide the cake, snacks, drinks, and party supplies.)

See and Do at the Children’s Museum

Ages up to 6 Years Old

I Dig Dinosaurs!

Ages 3-6

Have big fun as you discover all the larger-than-life details about history’s original party animals—the dinosaurs. You’ll also unearth more excitement with a visit to the dinosaur dig and a make-and-take craft project.

Party Like a Paleontologist!

Ages 7 and older

Prepare for fun of prehistoric proportions! See real dinosaur fossils. Explore various extinction theories—including a first-hand glimpse of a volcanic eruption. Plus, put on your goggles, grab your mallet, and be a junior paleontologist with your very own dinosaur egg to crack!

Lights… Color… Party!

Ages 4-7

More than a pigment of your imagination—it’s a celebration of illumination as you discover the relationship between color and light! Use a prism to create a vibrant rainbow of light and experiment with mixing paints to design your own colorful craft.

Getting Buggy With It!

Totally Mad Scientists

It’s insanely fun as our own scientific geniuses combine creativity and ingenuity to dazzle you with fun, safe experiments. Then, you get to go a little crazy and create your own project to take home.

Go where no party has gone before with a star-crossed celebration at the Planetarium! Gather a galaxy of knowledge with a regularly scheduled show and cross a new frontier with a space-themed activity.

*Planetarium parties do not include a party room and are only available in the afternoon. Please call for availability.

To secure your reservation and avoid cancellation, a $50 deposit is due within 7 days of booking your birthday party. Full payment is due two weeks prior to the party date.  The museum accepts MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can mail your check to:

Cancellations: A full refund will be given for cancellations up to two weeks prior to the party date. Birthday parties cancelled less than two weeks before the party date will forfeit the $50 deposit.  All other funds will be returned.
