Family Festivals

Family Festival Days offer wonderful opportunities for families to learn about all that nature and science have to offer! Activities include games, hands-on activities, crafts, touchable specimens, live interactive exhibits and dialogues with local experts. PLUS, festivals are free for members!

Food Drive Benefiting North Texas Food Bank

Bring a non-perishable food item on July 11 and receive a $2 discount off of general exhibit ticket.

One discount offer per food item. Limit 4 discounts per family. Not valid for special exhibitions and may not be combined with other offers. Box office redemption only.

Second Saturday Science - MNS Discovery Days

Come discover something new on the second Saturday every month with Discovery Days! Chock-full of hands-on activities, demonstrations, exhibits, and so much more, these daylong programs offer a new twist to learning about science. From Dinosaurs and sports to chemistry and fine arts, there’s plenty of fun for everyone.  Sponsored by Chase, Discovery Days are held at the Museum every month from March through August.
