Family Festivals

Family Festival Days offer wonderful opportunities for families to learn about all that nature and science have to offer! Activities include games, hands-on activities, crafts, touchable specimens, live interactive exhibits and dialogues with local experts. PLUS, festivals are free for members!

MNS Discovery Days—Now With Twice the Discovery!

What was once Second Saturday Science is now an entire weekend of hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and interactive exhibits that make learning about nature and science fun for the entire family. Better yet, Discovery Days are free with regular Museum admission, so there’s never been a better reason to come and explore!

Be sure to save the dates below so that you can discover how to be “uncreeped out” by creepy, scaly, and other unusual critters; learn the science behind high-tech gizmos and gadgets; see what makes super powers super; and more!
